Intro Post

Hello! I thought it would be a good idea to write an intro blog post and introduce not only myself, but my vision and vibes for the site as well.

As stated in several places throughout the blog already, my name is Nina and I’m based in Los Angeles, California. I’ve been wanting to take a leap of faith and put my efforts into a blog for quite some time now (about a decade maybe), so I figured why not start now.

I’m honestly writing this first intro post for myself as much as I am for anyone reading. I want this blog to have silly goofy energy, but I’m also hoping to address some more serious things that many travelers and people in general might not be able to find so easily. For example, how the locals in certain destinations treat women, people of color, members of the LGBTQ+ community, etc. I’m very much looking forward to exploring all of that and anything else readers might find helpful as well as finding my voice, space, and community online.

Anyway, I will try my best to enjoy the process of running this blog so that anyone reading on the other side enjoys it as much as they can as well. Keeping this one short and sweet; thanks for reading.
